Snapchat faces German lawsuit threat over child safety claims
Social media platform Snapchat faces a planned German lawsuit by Dutch consumer-rights foundation SOMI, which alleges the platform's design breaches the EU's Digital Services Act and AI Act by exposing minors to grooming, drug and e-cigarette offers, and recruitment into criminal activity.
