About SOMI
Stichting Onderzoek Marktinformatie (SOMI) is an independent foundation based in the
Netherlands
that helps people and minors across Europe protect their privacy and consumer rights
online.
We investigate potential misuse of personal data and help people exercise their rights under the
GDPR.
SOMI is officially recognized by the European Union as a Qualified Entity for collective actions.
This allows us to represent people across the EU when companies violate privacy or consumer
rights.
If our research shows that many people have suffered harm, SOMI can also initiate collective legal
proceedings and seek compensation.
